What kind of answers do you think you would get,
if you asked a group of people this question:

                 What is hell like? 

I did, and here are the answers I got from three states. The party crowd said,"a place for me and all my friends to party, a place where sex, drugs and rock & roll rule; a never ending party". The non-religious said,"don't know, don't care, or have no idea. Some of the non-christians said,"propaganda used by churches to keep the flock submissive. A mythical place from Christian folklore". The secularist say,"it doesn't exist". I saved my favorite for last,"the opposite of heaven". None of these come close to describing hell.  I will tell you; all I know of this real place, where many may find themselves. It will be to late, however, to change anything by then. 
   
This page is called,"reality". This is the reality that is described in the bible as hell. Hell is called the lake of fire and brimstone. It is called outer darkness; a place of eternal torment, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth and the worm dieth not. We know that fire is hot, but by the description, this fire gives no light; thus outer darkness, so you won't see others in hell.  There will be no escape from the suffering you will go through; and never any relief.

There will be no second chance. You will hear the screams and torment of each soul cast in this awful place. You will not be looking for friends; because hell is bottomless. You will be falling forever. Sound bad so far? I believe this is only the part that our minds can comprehend, and there is more that we would never understand.

I've been asked many times, how can a loving God send anyone to hell? My answer has always been,"God doesn't send anyone to hell, we choose to go there, by the choices we make". When you choose to reject Jesus as lord and Saviour; you choose to go to hell. The good thing is; your never too old to accept the Lord, and as soon as you do, you need not worry about hell. You won't be going there.

Lets be thankful there is another option to hell, made for us, by the Son of God, Jesus Christ which is HEAVEN. We that accept his free gift of grace, will have entrance to his kingdom. I can only guess; what we will do there for eternity, but we won't ever tire of the things we are privileged to do. They will be done for the King of Kings, and be done with the Lord. As the song,"Amazing Grace"says, "when we've been there ten thousand years, we've no less days to sing Gods praise, then when we've just begun". I also know we will not get tired, sick, or die in heaven. Think of the joy of learning from the Lord himself; the lessons he wanted all his children to know. I pray the lord will hurry back. Oh, to see a place where gold held so dear to so many here is nothing more then pavement in heaven. A place where the Lord will dry our every tear.
